Front-End Development

Front-end development turns a design into what a user actually sees and clicks. We build interfaces in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, or a framework like React or Vue when the application needs it, tested across browsers and devices, with performance treated as part of the design rather than fixed afterward.

WHAT THIS INVOLVES

The scope, and what has to get right.

  • HTML, CSS and JavaScript foundations. Clean, semantic code as the base, whether or not a framework sits on top of it.
  • Framework-based front ends where it fits. React, Vue or a similar framework for applications with real interactive state, not added for its own sake to a simple page.
  • Cross-browser and cross-device testing. Verified on Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, and at real device widths, not assumed from a single desktop preview.
  • Performance as a design constraint. Load time and responsiveness considered while building the interface, not addressed as an afterthought once it is slow.
HOW WE BUILD IT

Inside the system, not bolted on.

01

Design meets functionality

The interface balances how it looks with how it behaves, since a beautiful screen that lags is still a bad experience.

02

Built to integrate with the back end it depends on

Front-end work here is rarely standalone. It connects to a real API or application, and is built with that integration in mind from the start.

03

Collaborative handoff from design

Working from an existing design or building the interface ourselves, the result matches what was actually designed rather than an approximation.

QUESTIONS

Common questions.

Do you use a specific front-end framework?

React and Vue are both in active use across our work, chosen based on the application's needs rather than one default for everything.

Can you build the front end for a design someone else made?

Yes. Front-end development is offered on its own, converting an existing design into working, tested code.

How do you handle performance?

Performance is treated as part of the build, not a separate optimization pass at the end, since decisions made early are harder to unwind later.

Does this include the back end and API as well?

Front-end development can be scoped on its own, or as part of a full web or cloud application build that includes the back end.

LET'S TALK

Is your current interface slow, or just hard to maintain?

Tell us which one and we will tell you honestly whether it is a front-end problem or something underneath it.
